    2. Welcome to Tasting Intelligence ("Service"), provided by bhai.solutions ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our Service, including the Tasting Intelligence website and any related services. By using our Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

  2. Accounts and Registration

    1. Account Creation

      2. To use certain features of our Service, you must register for an account using your email address. We do not store passwords and cannot view or change them. Password management is securely handled by Firebase Authentication, part of Google Cloud Platform.

    2. Email Address and Account Management

      3. Your email address is used for account registration and cannot be changed once set. You may delete your account provided there are no active paid subscriptions associated with it.

  3. Subscription and Payments

    1. Free and Premium Services

      2. Our Service operates on a freemium model. The basic functionality is available for free, while additional features are available through a subscription model. Subscribed users will not see advertisements.

    2. Payments

      3. Payments for subscriptions are processed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. You can find more information about Paddle at Paddle.net. All payment information is securely managed by Paddle, and we do not store your payment details.

    3. Refund Policy

      4. Refunds are handled by Paddle under their terms and conditions, which can be found here. The maximum refund for any dispute will be limited to one subscription term's fees, prorated based on usage.

    4. Tax

      5. VAT is handled locally, with our Merchant of Record responsible for its management.

    5. In-App Purchases

      6. We do not offer other in-app purchases or one-time purchases; only subscriptions are available within our app.

  4. User Content

    1. Data Entry and Storage

      2. Users can write and upload drink reviews, which will be stored in our database. If a user deletes this data, it will be anonymized and cannot be restored. Users may submit new content as needed.

    2. Inactive Accounts

      3. Accounts will remain active until the user decides to cancel. We do not automatically deactivate inactive accounts.

    3. Data Collection and Analytics

      4. By using our Service, you agree that your reviews may be collected and used for analytical purposes, including the use of artificial intelligence.

  5. Conduct and Usage

      2. Users are expected to adhere to standards of decency when writing reviews or commenting. Discriminatory or violent language is not tolerated. Negative feedback is allowed, but personal attacks are prohibited. Users are encouraged to express their opinions respectfully.

      3. Users may provide feedback, which we may use for improvement purposes without financial compensation. We reserve the right to proactively seek feedback.

  6. Intellectual Property

    7. Tasting Intelligence and bhai.solutions own all rights to the name, logo, visual design, trademarks, and concept. No infringement on these rights is permitted. Our software may be used for commercial purposes, provided there is a reference to Tasting Intelligence. Reselling the software is prohibited.

  7. Responsible Alcohol Use

    8. We promote responsible alcohol consumption and are not liable for any damage resulting from insights gained from our Service. We encourage limited consumption, no alcohol use in traffic, and responsible use for health purposes.

  8. Privacy and Security

    1. Data Storage

      2. Email addresses are stored using Firebase Authentication and Paddle. We use cookies for analytical purposes to improve the user experience and for targeted marketing. We use Google Adsense, Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, and Facebook Pixels.

    2. Security

      3. Tasting Intelligence and bhai.solutions will never ask for sensitive information or money. All payments are handled by Paddle during subscription. If you suspect fraud, please contact OLAF European Anti-Fraud Office or local authorities in your country.

  9. Dispute Resolution

    10. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or our Service will be governed by Dutch law. Arbitration will take place in the Netherlands. The maximum refund for any dispute will be limited to one subscription term's fees, prorated based on usage.

  10. Changes to the Terms

    11. We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Service after any changes signifies your acceptance of the new Terms.
